Recently I built a guitar pedal (BYOC Green Pony) for a client.  I liked it so much that I built one for myself.  Then I decided to build a phaser.  Since then I've, well, er, I've...

Awesome  :icon_thumright:  I love the BYOC stuff, I've built several of them over the years. Great job with the graphics, did you print decals yourself?

The ones with the graphics came that way from BYOC.  I plan to do my own graphics with the other three in a bit - just waiting on some dry-transfer ink-jet paper from Korea...

I don't know about Korea, but I've gone through this with deliveries....................

Cool

I've built a Classic Fuzz, a "Large Beaver" (ram's Head) and a Mouse (Rat clone). Since December.

I screwed up on the Rat clone--can't get it to work. I put the LEDs in completely wrong --and messed up de-soldering, -re-orientating them and re-soldering. It's messy. I scorched the circuit board a little.
I'll take another crack at it this weekend.

So... when a Mayfly Designed pedal will apear?

Funny you should ask.  The un-painted one at the top is my own little creation...

Nice! You have the manual talent I with I had...

Thanks!  BTW, I'm thinking of calling the pedal 'the velvet sledgehammer'  :)

Cool, I'm not the only one!  Bought a Tube Screamer clone kit, and I think I completely hosed it. My crap soldering iron might be adequate for bigger things like pots, but I think the delicate precision needed for a CB was just beyond this iron's capability (and mine so far).

I felt like I was trying to filet a tenderloin with a butter knife for as heavy-handed as I was.

My slow boat from China arrived.

Too bad, I kind of liked hanging out with that trumpet player...

A bunch of OD pedals.  Well, "the velvet sledgehammer" is really a distortion pedal.

They use a new technology that uses quantum tunnelling that was developed in my home town of Edmonton, AB.  Some tuning to do, but they sound pretty great so far.

Me too.  I had to go to a bigger board to fit a couple more pedals, but then I had a bunch of empty space, and I didn't like that, so I filled it.

Eventually though it started to give me back problems, so now I use the board in the studio, and I use the Helix when I play out. It's much lighter than my pedalboard.
