First band I ever saw live in Sydney, 1975, at the height of their fame.... My school friend and I were very much into Quo back then. The Tel guitar sound on Down Down and Roll Over Lay Down still get me going. First song of the gig they demanded every one get up onto the seats and off their ass, then hit every one with what seemed like a wall full of Marshalls and blew the place apart for about two hours solid. They have a special place in my heart, but I was disappointed how they kept going back to the similar format and became much of parody unto themselves.
