It Has An Extra String!

I'd probably build a Warmoth 7 if the options existed for me to make it more of a jazz guitar. The 7 string carved tops are gorgeous, but I need to put a big fat neck on there and a tunomatic style bridge. I don't want no floyd, and I think the strat-style flatmount bridges are maybe the worst design ever.

I would think there are more bridge options available for a seven string???

There are lots of great neck manufacturers out there.  There's nothing to stop you from getting a W7 body and a Neck from somewhere else.  I'd accept it as a warmoth. :hello2:

Nathan, just curious why you think strat flatmounts are a bad design - they are simple, stable, stay in tune well, have good angles, anchor in the body, and don't get in the way. They are just like bass bridges, really. Is it just aesthetics?
