Tele-me about it

On Friday I happily received my packages from Warmoth that I had been waiting 5-6 weeks for -- an unfinished, black korina Gecko 6 body along with an ebony macassar/wenge neck. Today I finally had enough time to open my boxes and, as you can guess from the title, the neck doesn't fit in the neck pocket (yes, I'm putting it in the right way). I guess I'll hafta call Warmoth up in the morning to inquire about how the situation can be remedied, but in the meantime, has this ever happened to any of you before? How did you handle the situation?
What it looks like to me is that the neck pocket wasn't routed enough on the left side (near/above the obtuse angle). When I run my finger down it, at the corner it almost feels like my finger dips in a very slight amount. I'm really tempted to get out some coarse sand paper or even my Dremel, but I'd rather not void out the year-warranty by "modifying the body".
(my apologies for the bad lighting and low quality pictures, it's 2am right now and I can't really grab anything but my phone... at least it can serve for reference)
