if the description says set neck than it's probably a set neck. The joinery is just covered by the opaque paint.

Most likely not, just by judging the heel....Plus the description says set neck...

i'm going to say no. it looks pretty gibson-esque to me. plus i bet they would love to let you know it's a neck-through if it really is, so i bet it's not since they've said otherwise.

I've never seen a neck through gibson, and even if they did make them that way they'd probably still find a way to make it out of 10 pieces of wood. :icon_jokercolor:

They make a guitar very similar to the Dillion in the photo. There have been a few quite famous people to play them. They even came with banjo tuners and mini humbuckers vibrola tailpieces. It's a pretty cool guitar. IT'S CALLED A FIREBIRD!!!!!!

he speaks the truth

however, wikipedia mentions: "The neck itself is made up of five plies of mahogany interspersed with four narrow strips of walnut for added strength"

imminentG, you were off by one. not bad at all. you should go on the price is right and win yourself a dishwasher  :icon_thumright:  :laughing7:

That would appear to me to be a one piece neck/body core piece with the Firebird "wings" glued on

that's how it looks - but the description says otherwise. also mahogany/maple.
