Is anyone else as stoked about the Meadowhawk as me?

I can’t wait. I’m going to be ordering pretty much immediately upon release. Waiting patiently to see what it will look like in release form - will we get the AANJ, the raised maple top, the headstock? I certainly hope it’s the whole shebang. IMHO Warmoth knocked that design out of the park.

The only hard part will be nailing down all the options once the configurator is released.

I’m wondering if we’ll see two versions, a flat and carved top. The recent Meadowhawks in the Clare Walnut and Olive Drab releases were flattops.

It doesn’t really matter to me either way, I just like the skinny Tele offset thing. However, I am saving up some money just in case they give us the full shebang.

The standard Meadowhawk body will basically have all the same options as our other rear-rout bodies. Yes, the Meadowhawk neck and Meadowhawk inlays are also coming. These may be released very soon. Oh yes, they certainly may.

Honestly, I am looking forward to it as much as anyone. The 40th Anni's are fantastic and I love mine, but many of the specs were chosen for mass appeal, and not my personal preference. I'm really looking forward to getting one exactly the way I want it!

Meh, don't read too much into that. My response there was mostly an expression of exhaustion at what fandom has become.

My first Warmoth project (which is ostensibly still WIP) was a pair of Kramer-ized Teles. Love the idea of a modern single cut. I’ve designed a couple over time, and then I caught wind of this thing and I’ve been patiently waiting.


This one is even more Meadowhawkish, also in my stack of abandoned projects (made from Home Depot poplar)

Suffice to say the design is super up my alley

These may be released very soon. Oh yes, they certainly may.

Well, yeah - I used my two favorite guitars (Tele + SG) as well as the Meadowhawk and PRS Mira for references when I sketched it - it’s also designed to be the same 1.5” thickness as an SG. The upper left bout isn’t as dramatic as the Meadowhawk, it follows the Tele shape. The waistline is tucked in from the MHawk to match the drama of the SG body, but the offset angle and bottom are very much MHawk. The controls layout come from Hamer!

I am definitely with ya !! Will be my next….next build. Just need to decide the configs and how I want to finish it and what wood. Hope the neck is the same, love that headstock.

Loved the showcase body with neck listed on the website. But then I caught the sticker price and got woozy and a bit delirious. Clicked off the page and my eyes were able to re-focus at last. I have apparently hit stagflation.
