Internet wierdo bad mouths warmoth

I left him a reply, but I doubt it will be published.

The only thing I gleaned from his article despite his schizophrenic slant is that I can put together a sweet flying v with an arrow neck.  My next project!  Now THAT's great advertisement!

The dude is a putz putting it nicely.
His 1st DIY guitar, well that tells me he doesn't have a clue what he is doing.
Then he talked about "finishing" his ebony neck.
Nail in coffin LOL

Hey - what did you say to him?  He's added to his 'article' with even more foaming of the mouth off-my-meds ranting!

It's kinda funny - check it out!

Is it actually true that Warmoth, due to personal beliefs, won't make upside down crosses fretboard inlays?

Just order a LH neck and install it right handed.  Done!

I haven't asked whether they will or not, because I don't even remotely give a damn, but if they don't, my guess is it has a lot more to do with the market for same being too small to bother programming the CNC machine to do it.

Dangit, they won't do Akkadian Cuneiform script inlays either. What kind of narrow minded bigots are they?

On a serious note, I want to see someone do a guitar with woodburn art to imitate a cuneiform tablet from the ancient world.  :eek:ccasion14:

I poked around some other entries on the guy's blog (no new posts since September 2014, so apparently he's focusing his considerable, er, talents elsewhere.

As I look at what he's written, both in the post that gave rise to this thread, and otherwise, it's evident the guy is dealing with some mental health issues that are untreated or poorly treated.  There's no upside to trying to engage him.  You can't reason with crazy.

wow, I kept seeing this thread pop up but never actually read his blog...

I literally laughed out loud. I have only heard of a few "defective" warmoth parts, and they were usually due to climate during shipping...
So much wrong with what he said... haha

Im glad I learned that lesson a long time ago.
I just hope I don't forget it in the future!
Too much effort!

Also...if I may, I'd like to use this opportunity to not slam Warmth, but tout the brands of some recent discoveries that would give Warmoth a run for its money. Thank god I don't have to choose sides who to endorse.

Let's just say... "Headless Horseman Pumpkin Carving" (could use fatter LP toggle switch covers though)
& "Boogie man", "Rectoverb 25"  :cool01:
And what the hell, "Eric Johnson" "Fender" "Strat" the other day with the "boogie" wowza!  :headbang1:

I'm still in the hunt for a headless, fully scalloped, mutilscale instrument.  :icon_thumright:
It's a good thing no one is paying any attention to me  :icon_jokercolor:  :eek:ccasion14:

Exactly, you can't reason with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and win with experience...
