In stock painted bodies cusotmer chosen pickup route painted as well?

If a person chooses a painted in stock body and chooses a pickup configuration are the pickup routes painted?

They aren't, it'll be bare wood.

That'd be a return of a Showcase item + custom route (or awrongly routed order of a Showcase item).

Generally, there isn't much paint left once they route it. That one was a SSS Showcase I got routed for HSH, as you can see they essentially reroute the entire cavities including the controls (which makes sense BTW):

That one also looks like bare wood where the humbucker has been routed after the Tele bridge and paint.
