Greetings,

Just received a new neck yesterday, and had ordered it with Vintage size tuning holes.  Thought I'd be able to find locking tuners for vintage sizing, but not finding anything.

What is the best way to enlarge the tuner holes?  Drill, reamer, other?

To a certain point it would depend on exactly which tuners you get, however most of the time a reamer is your safest way to do it. Measurement of the tuner housing would tell what size reamer, and whether or not it should be tapered.  :headbang:

Such things do exist...

If it's not too much, a pencil wrapped with fine sand paper.  Take your time.
Or get some hipshot locking tuners at 8.5 mm and save the ones you got for the next project.  You might need a tiny paper shim, but it would work, I think. Or get the reamer.  I found that the hipshot 10mm work fine with the warmoth 9.92 holes ... no problem, just a tiny bit of sandpaper and pencil and it's good.
