That guitar has such a cool top. There is no way to see it in pictures, it changes from every angle. It was fun to do that one and Hannah's side by side. Hannah's top is so bold and Bill's is so subtle; I love them both. I especially love how the color of the mahogany matched the color of the burst on this guitar so well.

I look forward to seeing it put together. Thank you for letting me be a part of this build and for all your kind words.

Not sure yet.  Maybe a SD JB/Jazz combo or BKP Mule set.  I do have a RG BBQ set but they are open coil and I want to go with chrome covers.  Leaning more toward the BKP though.

The tea burst looks cool. For pickups have you thought about Häussel-1959s ?

I haven't heard of them, I'll give them a look.

I first heard of them through Ruokangas who uses Häussel for pickups.  For those who are not familiar with Ruokangas he is a luthier from Finland. He has some videos on YouTube that for most of us on here who like to assemble or build guitars would find worth a watch.

That SD combo is a commonly used and a trusted combo.
Seen a lot in LP's
I got that set on a Strat. Sounds great.
But ....
I have BKP on my black quilt strat TOM, got a Mule in the neck & a Abraxas in the bridge.
That guitar is my Fav.  :guitarplayer2:

Go the BKP's  :icon_thumright:

Ok, finally getting around to finishing this beauty.  I have everything I need except pickup.  Got it narrowed down to three choices.

1) BKP mules
2) BKP Riff Raffs
3) Railhammer Hyper Vintage
