I think I need ANOTHER acoustic guitar

Pricey ice cream joint. A bit rich for my blood but the MIL likes to give such gifts.

I *found* the one I sold in college. Last of the US build Guild JN-4F's. $700. I was actually thinking about it but decided - nah. What I NEED right now is a 2nd guitar to keep in standard tuning. A pickup would be nice even though I hate UST's. I might rip it out one day and put a JJB Prestige 330 instead. Having a guitar in an alternate voice as also a nice to have for 2nd guitar.

I have a sale of some drum stuff pending - won't completely cover it but it'd get about halfway there and I have several more things on the block or getting ready to go on the block. Of all the vids I've watched the one that spoke to me was the OM-240 anyway. It was just getting too hard to justify spending a ton more, even saving up for it.  Then this refurb pops up. It's bigger brother has a similar (unrepaired) finish blem. This is the isle of misfit toys I guess.

It's here! I'm really puzzled by the color in the pic. It's not THAT yellow, and the logo/inlay looks whiter in person. Looks like a white balance issue but the white/chrome snare (my 15" reflector) looks fine as far as that goes.

Sometimes I think modern cameras are too smart for their own good. I know in many of the pics I took of my guitars at the last place I lived, the grass was freakishly green, while everything else looked right. Check out the pic of that Jazzmaster of mine in this month's GOM. Don't get me wrong - we had some good-looking grass. Lotta attention paid to it. But... really?

Anyway, good-looking guitar. I hope it meets your needs.

Interestingly enough - the piezo does NOT generate more high frequency content than the piezo (with onboard preamp so I'm going to assume that there is not significant loading or mismatch here. Going into the Hi-Z preamp on my Zoom R24.
