thanks guys. Yes the guitar sounds really good. It is very very articulate - runs and hammer ons and pull offs just pop out of the guitar. It's well set up and easy to play as well. A complete win. :headbang:

Hey TBurst - I mic'ed it with a Neumann TLM102 pointed just a little ahead of the sound hole. Then into a grace designs mic pre, then an apogee duetII. Then straight into the mac. The preamp had everything below 120Hz rolled off about 3 db - the guitar has a lot of bass on it! No other EQ or compression or whatever on the guitar.
Everything else was recorded with that setup as well (with different EQ and stuff of course).
Oh and the song I wrote for my oldest sons' grade one class. They really liked it. I'm the coolest Dad ever!
