I Saw The Light (Todd Rundgren)

I accidently stumbled over this great pop song from the early 70s, written by Todd Rundgren.

He also had some success as a Producer, mainly in the 70s/80s with the release of several albums from Grand Funk Railroad, Meat Loaf and Hall&Oates.

For fans of live recordings there is a very nice version from 2011, recorded at Daryl's House in Hawaii. Starting at 2007 he invited a lot of musicians to do live recordings where he usually participated.

I did a funky Disco version out of it.

I appreciate your feedback. Thanks for listening & watching  :icon_thumright:

Thx for your well-disposed feedback - I appreciate that  :icon_thumright:

Since I no longer play in bands anymore and just do home recordings these days, I was inevitably forced to develop more skills on other instruments, vocals and all that recording/mixing/mastering stuff.

I've forgotten something to mention. In case of interest:

Todd Rundgren is nominated now 3 years in row for the R&R Hall of Fame 2021. I think he finally deserves it. Anyone can participate on the Online-Voting until 30th April 2021 (search for "Rock Hall Fan Vote“) .

This song is great for garden parties.  I can't wait to start playing for an audience again.
I agree he deserves it!
