I need to stop looking at the Warmoth showcase every day just to see if there is something I need that I don't need, but need. :ROFLMAO:

This one just sucked me in ...

This will be an "optional neck" for my KNS build. But, I'm thinking more about a single hum / single volume Hipshot hardtail Velocity 😁 .

Yeah ... this is going to happen. I might even put on some of those old timey wind the string around the post tuners 😃 !

I'm picturing this as a "light" feeling guitar. 9 gauge strings on the Gibson scale. Maybe a basswood body, but probably mahogany. In my mind, I'm seeing this as my 11 year old son's first real electric guitar 😉 .

Some kind of a blue finish. White pickup. White Strat volume knob. Chrome hardware. Hmmm ... 🤔

When you said single pickup/single vol Velocity my head went right to “Oh, like a LP Jr but better”

There was a Custom Shop double cut junior at my local small shop in the early '90s that I still kick myself in the ass for not buying. TV Yellow, single P90, black pick guard. It was solid. I think it was around $750 at the time (for a Custom Shop! 😮). Oh, my ... if I could only travel back and snag that one. This was around the same time you could buy a brand new Les Paul Standard for about $850. Which, I did! Too bad I don't have that one anymore, either. Traded it in on an American Standard Strat when I thought it would help me become SRV. So young, dumb, and wrong ....
