It's getting a HSS route, white pearl picguard and a wilkinson trem.
I'm planning a AAA Flame maple neck with ebony fretboard, boatneck contour with schaller locking tuners.

Very nice, I've always preferred top routed strat and tele bodies even with nice figuring.. They just don't look themselves without a pickguard.

I actually managed to order a neck aswell. I didn't think I had enough money, but the money transfer went thru - and the neck-order is placed.

definitely agree, and i have a rear routed strat :icon_biggrin: just isn't the same!

that's going to be one nice project. can't wait to see that crazy finish with a white pearl guard!

All I need now, is the pickups.
I have seymour duncans on the Candy Tangerine Strat.
I wonder if Bare Knuckle is the way to go with this one.

I kinda like how a maple neck adds highs to the sound, and I think that for example an indian rosewood neck would be too warm for me.

I registered on the Bare Knuckles discussion board, to get some advice on what pickups to get for thes sweet lil' geetar  ccasion14:
The price wasn't too bad either. I can get a full HSS set to the same price as I get ONE SINGLE seymour duncan for, here in Norway.

It's totally crazy!
If I convert prices from (NOK) Norwegian Kroners to USD, a seymour duncan would cost me 242 USD in Norway!
That's freakin' unbelievable!

That's a very nice body, and I think the pickguard will go great with it.  A strat isn't a true strat without the pickguard. :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

I thought it was strange that I had enough money on my bank account to pay for these orders. I KNOW that I had enough to place the first one - but It seemed weird that I could afford the seccond one too.
To check this out, I tried to buy something worth 2400ish dollars, to see if I still could order. I got the message that my paiment failed due to insufficent founds.
...which means that I actually COULD afford both orders. I'm a happy guy!

"left tuner" does not mean left handed tuner. It means a tuner for the left side. a 3+3 headstock might be on a right handed guitar but it will have three on the left side and three on the right.

Damn I envy that! I cant wait for summer to roll around so I can start making money again. I have a bloated savings account but if I EVER did anything like that I would be kicking myself for it later. That a is a beautiful body though! I love that fireburst :icon_thumright:
