Are these guitars good? They look like they were made like in China or somewhere like that. If they were good enough,I could just buy one and use the knobs, pickups, and the other hardware to make my own right?

This one don't look too cheap.

Sorry to break this to you, but these cheapie, no-name, made in who knows where guitars are indeed junk.  They are not even worth the obscenely low prices they are advertised at.  What is more is that the electronics and harware are usually THE worst parts on them.  Don't waste your money harvesting junk from junk.  You could throw those pickups, switches and pots in the nicest wood in the world, and all that will happen is it will still sound like crap, and be scratchy and useless.  You will be dissappointed and I did warn you!

Yeah, just a look at the pictures isn't impressing me. They look like they weren't quite designed as high or mid-range guitars.

And the EMG's are EMG selects. They're the low end EMGs, and aren't active or anything.

I actually wasn't gonna buy them. I was just looking at their drum sets and seen these guitars. They look really cheap.

The first one the "V", in the description says and I quote"this is a set neck, NOT a bolt on"...But if you look at the one pictured it has a bolt on neck...
I would save my money to buy good parts..

most of the guitars/basses you see like this utilize a 1/40" (0.025" / 0.06mm) top veneer that is nicely hidden by the solid color on the edge.

not a bad deal at $190 + $30 shipping if you're looking into whether a 6-string bass is right for you, but don't set your hopes on it playing like a 6-string Gecko without a lot of tech work.

depending on your sound tech, this may actually sound kust like a '64 P-bass in the mix ... ummm, there's a bass in the mix??  :laughing11:

all the best,

R
