...Warmoth's 'Vintage' bodies are available with other pickup and bridge routings!

My order is in for a body with *vintage* tummy cut and forearm contour paired with a vintage flat hardtail and HSH-routs!!!
That plus a neon-pink finish!!! Oh yeah!!!!  :headbang

"Vintage" is another weasel-word overused for the purpose of relieving the credulous of their cash, in almost every case.  Once in a while it is useful shorthand for "has (sometimes desirable) characteristics common to old stuff", but far more often it's a bogus patina of gravitas.

Edit:

I like the idea of perverting the "vintage" vibe with hot pink, etc.  Nice job.

I agree about the *vintage* comments.

What I am looking for in this project is an 80s vibe (or 'MartyMcFly-vintage', as I call it) with the more pronounced forearm contour and tummy cut (just more comfortable to me).

Sure you may look gay to some guys playing a pink guitar. But the ladies won't think so.  :icon_thumright:

My strat is pink btw.

Haha, yeah!
But *vintage* is relative.

To me, vintage is 80s  :toothy12:

To me, it seems like the 80s was only yesterday...you mean it wasn't?    :icon_scratch:

If you do not have embarrassing pictures of you in the 80s, you just were not there.

I mean florescent neon pink shorts were common at one time in the 80s, ah, not that I ever had any or anything like that :binkybaby:

Just like I never had a mullet or had any double denim outfits...

Faux tight black leather jeans with white sandshoes were also popular.....good luck getting the pants off after a hot sweaty night tho!

Once I got past infancy, I never wore diapers until a brief period in the late '90s. Otherwise, I was a suit and tie kinda guy.

Moderate mid-range ageless conservative silk. Never try to be trendy with those things; you can't win.
