Every so often in life you receive a real epiphany. The kind where the heavens open up and a ray of cosmic energy beams straight into the top of your skull and you can feel a new understanding all the way to your bones and you know that your life will never be the same. I had one of those about two years ago after a particularly heated and long winded debate on Facebook with a complete stranger over something that seemed dreadfully important at the time. I was coming off of a night shift and I was so worked up that I couldn't sleep and burned hours arguing and researching and typing and waiting, all this over the opinion of some random person that I had never met and would never meet and who held absolutely no real meaning in my life. The realization was that I was under no obligation whatsoever to point out, correct or otherwise engage every jerk on the internet. And now I don't. And life is better. It may sound silly, but I'm quite serious, it was significant.

Yeah, i tend to stay away from Aug l arguments in the internet, because people are so unreasonable it seems. He hasn't replied to my comment, so I'm just going to leave it at that.. Haha
