My PAF Pro doesn't remind me of that look, with the matte black bobbins.  I cannot comment on the Super 3 or the SM model.  By "Evos," I meant Evo neck, bridge or 2.  You going to make me guess any further?

Not necessarily.  There are a lot of great passive pups that do metal better than EMGs.

Awesome!!!!......a very wicked looking ax indeed.  Everything  a soloist should be.  Im a huge fan of fixed bridges and I really love the look of the reverse headstock on these guitars....sweet.
