Hybrid Tele with a strat pickguard

If I have loaded strat pickguard, will it fit on a hybrid tele body?  Thinking about my next build.  In theory everything should line up the same, but I'm wondering if the horn / upper bout and waist would match up, or at least be on the wood.

I too am considering a Hybrid Tele build. Awhile back I printed the PDF Warmoth pick-guard comparison and by all accounts the Strat and Hybrid pick-guards are the same except for the horn sections and extra width along the horn side of the Hybrid pick-guard. What I was planning on doing is removing a Strat pick-guard horn section by following the general corner outline found on a Tele Deluxe pick-guard. The narrower, hornless Strat pick-guard would expose more color and probably look good.
Keep it in mind that this is mostly guesswork and not hands-on. You'll have to PDF print the Hybrid pick-guard to compare. Also compare the dimensions of the Hybrid body volume/tone/switch cavity to a Strat which should be the same. If it doesn't work a Warmoth Tele Hybrid pick-guard is $25.00.
