Hybrid Strat Construction

I am currently applying Tru-oil to the body. I sanded it down to 600 grit and I applied two coats over the weekend. I will add pictures this evening. The walnut looks amazing!

Wow, that's beautiful.  Walnut has this smoothness in it's look that is beautiful.

Very nice! I love walnut, it's one of my favorite woods for wood-working! My current build has a walnut body with a quilted maple top. The dark walnut on your top looks really nice, especially once it was oiled up.  :yourock:

I finished assembling my guitar a couple of weeks ago. I had Maple Street Guitars in Atlanta handle the final assembly, wiring and set-up. I really enjoyed this project!

It is enjoyable isn't it?  When I play the guitar, especially with others, or have my mind on making a guitar, for a few brief moments troubles fall away.
