Well while I should be excited about having a telecaster body delivered at some point today, all I’m going to be doing today and tomorrow is hurricane prep!
Right now projections have it bee  lining to about 40 minutes north of me which is way too close!
😟

For those of you in Florida or the southeast in general, stay safe!

Well I live north of Orlando, but just arrived in England.  Only hurricane I’m seeing is at a RAF museum.

Now to find someone to stash the patio furniture

Stay safe!!

Let's hope the worst of it passes by you. Or, it dies off some but that doesn't look too likely right now. Stay safe.

Good luck, stay safe.

I hate hurricanes.
We don't get them every year, but have been hit by them on occasion (New York metro area).

I remember as a kid I used to  find big storms exciting. Tropical storms, hurricanes, Nor-easters and blizzards.
Now as a homeowner they scare the hell out of me.

Same here, as here in Michigan we rarely see truly destructive storms like hurricanes, etc.

But, we had a tornado pass by very close by the house several years ago, and it was the first time I was ever truly frightened during a weather event. I mean, we literally went and hid in the basement. Never saw anything like it before, and hope I never do again. What a mess it made of a lotta stuff.

Ok...I did...but I grumbled and complained the whole time, knowing I could be turning the body around in a thousand different ways to see how cool it looks....

Remember Aaron, this satin black build is your fault, for showing off a satin black body in your stain finish video....saying how cool a blacked out ninja guitar would look so cool, with your fancy sales pitch voice, and then me, a helpless consumer, thinking well, if AARON thinks it would look cool, well then I definitely need one, because, well, Aaron....

Now the storm has slowed, and not supposed to crush my town until Tuesday, which will, of course screw up the scheduled delivery of the neck and other assorted Warmoth parts on Wednesday....

I was like Seamus too.  When I was kid, loved the blizzards, massive lightning storms, the rain from the remnants of hurricanes, and then when I got older and lived in NYC, and rented, still thought it was fun.  After becoming a homeowner, though not so much fun.  It took me 8 years to chop down all the trees that could fall on my house.  But it's done, and I sleep so much better.  Still my shed could get whacked, but that's a lot lower level of anxiety.

I experienced a storm that was just one level below a hurricane, and it was terrifying. I can't imagine what cat 4 is like.  Make yourself safe.
