Humbucker Ring on a Soloist body = flat or angled?

I have a Warmoth soloist and a 7/8 Strat. I had one shop build one and a different shop build the other. Both guitars have angled pickup rings for the bridge humbucker and they are both angled with the high side closest to the bridge. The pickups are not at all parallel with the strings. Is this how they should be? One of the shops is very high end (I had them plek my necks as well).

Neck pocket angle and bridge type is the determining factor.

Do you have a neck pocket cut for a carve top and TOM, angled. If not, most likely flat. Send me some of the money you paid the high end shop as anyone who has worked for at least 3 years gets this.
