I have 2 .01 capacitors - can I make them .02 by wiring them together? And if so, "end to end" or parallel? I want to try .01 by itself first, and if it's not enough, then add in the other one.
Yep. wired in parallel the plate areas add together doubling the overall capacitance. If you put them in series, then you use the same equation for resistors in parallel.
