Yo that snizz reminds me of my rave days in the 90's. i saw the Prodigy live and still have the scars to prove it. I remmevr like it was yesterday or last month
i’d actually felt a bit self-conscious standing in the line to go in, while other concertgoers were dressed in colourful raver outfits and sporting dozens of glowstick bracelets, i was wearing jeans, tennis shoes, and a shirt that id bought at the st Louis zoo with an otter on it. “You didn’t tell me it was a dress-up concert, todd. i would have worn something more fun otherwise.”
“You don’t own anything fun.” he said
“what about my t-shirt with the word Helvetica written in Times New Roman? Tthats a good joke”
“Not really"
“yes it is. I bet if i’d worn it a lot of people here would have smiled and said Ha. Clever."
“it’s more of a graphic designer joke than a funny one and your not a graphic designer”. Todd wouldn't know a good joke if it hit him in the head
(Ive got one that says Times in Helvetica as well but i don’t like that one as much though as the kerning’s wrong)
"there’s a booth selling band t-shirts over there. Get one and change in the bathroom", todd said.
“i’m not paying $20 dollars for a Gildan t-shirt. they’re itchy and shrink to half the size when you wash them. besides, the line is too long.”
“Don’t worry about it then. A lot of people like otters. And going to the zoo. Children mostly.”
So anyway, the concert ended up being fun and loud and they played Firestarter twice, although I don't remember much of it as there was a lot of X going around and this was B.R. Rob (Before Ranch). I didn't see todd for several days until his gf said she found him downtown where he had wandered after the show. I danced with a girl who had a lip ring and glow in the dark face paint who told me to call her my muse but I thought that was weird and was like f that so I left early
