I know the showcase stuff ships pretty quickly on all accounts I have seen here the last few days.

What about custom orders?

I know they state 10-12 weeks.
Has anyone experienced faster production/ship times?

Can you tell I am already Antsy to get this project going? ? :laughing7:

Foreeeeever. My neck (no finish) actually shipped in about four weeks I think. I wouldn't be surprised if no finish knocked several days off the potential time to ship, but it can't help you with the folks in the queue ahead of yours.

Ummm ... this all depends on many things ie: what type of finish, raw or finished neck etc etc.

I've had 2 custom builds and my 1st was just a body ordered 20th Oct and on the 31st of Dec (happy new year) got the news
that a fault occurred in the body and that they had to re-start it from scratch :sad: .... crap happens !!
but when that happens they put it though as a priority.
Recieved that on the doorstep 13th Feb (just shy of 4 months) But she was a Beauty.

The other one Custom body and a Custom neck needed painting / inlay etc.
took from order to doorstep ... 23rd June > 24th July    .... plus that's to Australia.

I ordered on a friday(5/10) so that said production MIGHT have started say tuesday(5/14)....
plus with the monday holiday, I am HOPING to see it around the first/second week of July.....

I have experienced faster production times. And also one time where it took exactly 12 weeks.

So you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?​

Can't really put it better than Harry, but my custom order finished neck shipped after 5 weeks and 6 days (not that I was counting).

This was in an e-mail I got from Warmoth, after they received my order on 5/20:

We do our best to meet the shipping times stated below. If we run into a significant delay, we will contact you right away. Otherwise, your patience is much appreciated. We will ship the entire order together when all items are in stock and completed.
Hardware Orders Ships in approx 2-3 business days (M-F)
Pickguard Orders Ships in approx 3-4 business days (M-F)
Showcase Items not getting paint Ships in approx 5-6 business days (M-F)
Showcase Items getting paint Ships in approx 4-5 weeks
Build to Order Items not getting paint Ships in approx 4-5 weeks
Build to Order Items getting paint Ships in approx 8-10 weeks

You can always head down to the beauty parlor to get some fake fingernails, so you'll have more to chew on.

I've had some weird delivery times on showcase and pickguard orders.

1.) 2 pickguards I spec'd a truss rod trench routed in (only if they could do it, if not ship them anyway).  3 weeks later I get an email wanting clarification.

2.) A gloss finished showcase neck that needed fretting and a nut install, only to find out it had no finish.  The showcase configurator, another customer had proceeded with configuring but did not purchase, somehow it changed the description and price to reflect work not done.  When I called 2 weeks later, they were scratching their heads on what to do about it.  That was a weird one.

Both of my custom order necks (raw) took under a month. My showcase neck shipped pretty fast, too.

Yeah same here, and I live in Sweden.

Haha, what a wait it was. I really was like that ( :toothy10 during the entire wait. Checking the order on my login every day to see something happened... But if I remember right there was only two, like "in progress" and "shipped" or something. So now  I know I don't have to check the order every day until the next build. But I will do that anyway just to be sure  :toothy10:
