Sweet, I was watching that body on ebay. The guy had that one and one other that liioke pretty seet too...Cool to see someone on the board got it.... :icon_thumright:

Danish would look the shyt on that body, as Super Turbo said. Wet sand with #320 sand paper and some of the D-oil, for a couple rounds. Then finish with a few more coats let dry for about 3-4 wks, then lightly buff with a super fine sanding pad...No steel wool.... :headbang:

My 2 cents on the finish is a clear.
A sunburst is definitely cool, but I'd want to show off the edges and the construction.

Yes you are correct, those two were the ones I was thinking of. The 3 pickup one was actually the one I was watching. But I must say, yours is wayyyyyyyyyy better looking... :headbang:

I'm usually a double humbucker fan, but i have to say I like this one better...Walnut... :icon_scratch:

I think clear always looks best on these builds, shows off the woods. I bet a slight tobacco burst would look great also.
