How dark is your Walnut body?

Looking to get a Walnut body for a parts Strat.  I've been looking at other Warmoth pictures online, and the colors vary quite a bit. I've seen some nice dark chocolately Walnut bodies, and I've seen some that are about as bland and colorless as a brown paper bag.  I plan on putting an oil finish of some kind on it btw.

Any walnut warmoth pics would be great!  Thanks!

God grows every tree differently....
But oil will darken up nearly every wood you apply it to.
What brand or type were you thinking of?
I've done Watco and TruOil - both work well, and look great.

I'm not entirely sure what kind of oil to use yet. Nothing too glossy.  Keeping the wood as natural as possible is what I'm going for.

TruOil and Watco will do that for you. You can make them glossy with lots of build, but it's not necessary.
