HotRodding my tele

Well I've decided since I can't afford a new body at the moment, it's time to hot rod my tele.

I've got

and I'm putting on the neck I purchased from MayFly, "Warmoth Pro, maple/indian rosewood, standard thin, clay dots, 6105 frets, satin nitro warmoth finish, 1-11/16 with graphtec nut, holes for planet waves tuners." I've got black pickguard, black control plate, some black knobs.. I just purchased a black wilkinson compensated tele bridge, 2 500k solid shaft pots, and a 4 way switch. I'm going to do the series and parallel wiring scheme. So.. it will be a black tele. Oh I also got two "Lil Punchers" from GFS, rail hb's.

Let me know your thoughts, suggestions.

Sounds great.  Eventually you'll have to get a satin black warmoth body and a solid jet black ebony neck though.

Also you should put some DR black beauty's on it.  :icon_thumright:

I do plan on eventually changing out the body, unless I like it too much and just make another one..

is this a standard MIM Tele? I own one in metalic green and would not change a thing..love the sound of it's pickups. maybe a 4-way + phase switching would be a good mod whithout changing much.

It is, but I don't really care for the sound of mine.. you might have gotten a better batch..
