There is no option for routing for a battery box on a hollow body tele bass.  I assume, to just use some of the hollow area to put the batteries in a battery box?  My problem is where and how to secure it?

If you'd prefer a battery box, did you call or email them to ask?

Just because an option isn't listed doesn't necessarily mean it isn't available.

Most active systems include a battery clip that can be attached with double stick tape.
