Well here its is my hollow JBass in Wenge and Beeswing Bubinga finished in Danish oil.

Neck is Bubinga and a Ziricote fretboard and Abalone dots.

Pickups are Seymour Duncan Basslines passive soapbars SSB4's

This is a heavy bass weighing in at a little over 11 lbs. Not much more than my Ibanez though.
Sounds so warm and woody.

That's a great looking build. I don't usually like black hardware but that works great, well done. I bet it sounds huge!!! :icon_thumright:

That is what it is all about, man.  Just tell me where you could buy something like that off the shelf...actually I'll save you the trouble, you couldn't!  Very nice indeed.

Wow...I love that soapbar look on a Jazz....so are you happy with the sound of the pickups? and did Warmoth do the routs at the factory?

Cheers on a nice job :eek:ccasion14:

Yes Warmoth did the routes for me. Just had it routed for EMG's.

I really do like the sound of the pickups. Guitar is warm and woody with just enough bite.

VERY tasty in all regards!  I'm glad, however, it's your back
