HNGD Charvel Model 6

Well I got a new guitar. It's not a standard thing for me to GET a new guitar (I just don't sell, so that's why I got so much junk laying around!) but this one is very special to me. it's my fav color (sparkle pink), original case, original pickups, original electronics. original frets ( ) . It got here last saturday and I took this morning off to polish the frets to a shine. Thank GOD for dremel tools and polishing compounds. I'm a happy camper i'll post pics later.

oh, and it's special to me cause my first guitar was a model 6 as well. only in puke green.

What year? I have an 80s model six. Just putting new pick ups in it.  Love to see some pics.

Nice. I've got an '87 Charvel Model 2. Electric Metallic Blue. Due for a fretjob, but other than that it's still one of my favorite guitars.

Sooo... what the hell? It's not a Les Paul! Are you sick? Should we be buying flowers?  :laughing7:

I can well understand buying repeats of firsts. I have a Gibson Melody Maker I bought for that very reason. Never play it, just had to have it.

no not really. just a change of taste I love les pauls, I'm building them like crazy. I just like strats. but a les paul is still 'home' to me.
