Hipshot grounding on Tele

Very much related to my most recent thread, how would I go about grounding a Hipshot Hardtail bridge on a Tele? I have the classic front control cavity

You have the angled ground wire hole, right? If so, just run a wire from under the bridge to the back of the volume pot, which should normally be your common ground point. I've used vintage style cloth push back wire with success in the recent past.

Yeah, it's definitely a "mark made by a tool".

On purpose, of course.

Leave a little exposed wire (maybe 3/8-1/2 inch) hanging out of the hole under the bridge and crank that sucker down. Should be good.
