hi guys! i'm new to this forum, and i've never built a guitar before and i wanted to start now. But before that, just wanna ask, what are the tools and equipments that i will need? and also, other than all the visible parts like the neck, pickups, knobs and stuffs, what else do i need to get? i'm totally a newbie in this, and really hope to get some help around here=) cheers!

No offense, but instead of just saying "teach me everything please" you should look around the net first, get one of the books on guitar assembly, and / or tear apart a guitar you already have - upgrade the pickups and tuners on an old beater, for instance. There are thousands of pages of posts you can read on this and other forums as well. In other words, if you know nothing, do some reading first. That said, welcome to the forum and when you have specific questions I'm sure you'll find lots of help here.

I mean, for instance, I google 'electric guitar assembly instructions' and click the first link, and I get a nice step by step: http://www.manchesterguitartech.co.uk/kitbuild.html

This little hair on my head rises when have seen the paint spray bottle.  :o
If somebody wants will build guitars and will make the beautiful finish let him not start without the efficient air compressor and pistol painter nozzle.

To be fair, tfarny, this was posted in the Tips and Tricks Section of the forum. Maybe the poster did do some research but wanted to find out how the real builders do the assembly first rather than by just going by the theory that's read in books.

Dan Erlewine for example, does give good advice in his books but sometimes slips in the odd bit of using specialist tooling that is, funnily enough, available from Stewart Macdonald  :sign13: , when the final result could be achieved by either using generic tools or at that point, taking the guitar to a repairer who will charge you less for the job than buying the tools on a once only task.
