so....I'm here to give all you UW forumites an advance heads-up: make sure you're paying attention to all things Warmoth tomorrow morning, as we will be making an announcement about something. I am not at liberty to divulge any details about the nature of this announcement, but I do offer this picture of my desk this morning as photographic evidence that I was here, and had some delicious yogurt with granola in it for my mid-morning snack.  :icon_thumright:

Funny....after I posted that photo I squinted and stared at it really hard to make sure there were no recognizable words on the screen that would give anything away....and I found one.  :o  :doh: I quickly took the photo down, Photoshopped it out, and reposted the photo. 
 
Too late!  I used the waybackmachine to go back an hour, copy the pic, then replace it!  The, "Please Read Before Posting" section is going away! 
 
My desk was that clean once. Once!

I think it was my first day on the job...
 
Is that CSS on the left screen.  I spotted a Keepass icon too, great application.

My work desk always ends up with piles of printouts of Visios and sketches. So I can't say mine is that tidy either.
 
Inline styles and html background colour? :o

Incidentally, the word that I had to erase from the photo of my computer screens was "sale".  :glasses9:

Same here (ok, not a Jazzcaster). Would have saved almost $150 if I'd have waited a week and a half! They'll refund me the difference though, right? Right...!?

Got the Daphne Blue Strat body I've been eyeing for a while already, but I'm seriously looking at that Candy Red Mooncaster too. Zoikes that's a gorgeous body. And that blue dye carved top VIP too. And the .. and the... and the...

The vintage nitro satin/nickel frets/nut installed version of the neck I ordered TWO DAYS AGO with SS frets/no-finish is now CHEAPER!!!

-Oh well. -At least I'll have the fun of spraying it myself and knowing I got the better frets.  :icon_thumright:
 
Why oh why are all the Jazzmasters cut for a trem? Might need to reassess..........

They don't have to be. I have one here routed/drilled for a Wilkinson. But, you won't often see them in the showcase routed/drilled for anything other than that pitiful Fender vibrato because it's an iconic look. You have to custom order for something different.

On the plus side, it's fairly easy to defeat the standard Jazzmaster/Jaguar Fender vibrato so it behaves like a hardtail. Then it looks right, but you don't get the functionality. If you can live without mechanical vibrato, that's not a bad way to go.
