For some reason, I cannot come up with a locking, 18:1, six in-line tuner meant to fit in a 10 mm hole that comes in black? I'm sure something like this exists somewhere...

yeah, i thought those might work too, but they are too big. 10mm anyone?

The Schaller Mini-Lockers and Sperzels both want a 25/64" hole, which is .390". A 10mm hole is .393" so you're only talking a few thousandths of an inch off. Less than the thickness of the plating or paint. They both come in black, and are both very high quality parts. Buy some. Install them. Be happy. Those are tighter tolerances than Gibson calls good, and they get $500/lb. for their guitars.
