Hey, I know some of you hate charities and guitars in one place, so just close this thread now if it bothers you.

I work closely with the Puyallup FISH food bank every day, and I can tell you that these people do wonderful, wonderful work every day (even though they're supposedly only open 4 days a week). Bill and company go out of their way to not just feed people, but EMPOWER people to better themselves. They're trying to purchase a permanent building, as they're been forced to rent one that's less advantageous for a couple years now.
Please check out this opportunity to help people in the community where your favorite guitar parts are built. It's really easy, and will make a real difference. Also, check out the opportunities in your community by putting your state's name in the search bar... once you're done voting for the Puyallup Food Bank, of course!

to receive a $250,000 Grant from Pepsi Refresh
Pepsi is offering the Puyallup Food Bank a chance to win a grant for $250,000 to help purchase a permanent home for the food bank. Rent is their biggest expense, and they risk disruption or closure past December of 2010. Currently they are raising funds to move to a smaller building that the food bank can own. If the Pepsi Refresh contest is won 100% will be use toward the purchase a building.
Please vote and help the Puyallup Food Bank receive funds to help keep feeding 20,000 of our neighbors in need every year.
The top two contenders in the $250K category will with the money. This is a popularity contest and Every vote matters!
You can vote once every day, so please vote again tomorrow. Also, please forward this to your friends and ask them to vote every day too!

2. You will then see be prompted to Vote Now Click on the one that button, it will then take you to the Pepsi Refresh site
3. You will see a yellow banner that says:
Buy the Puyallup Food Bank a building to keep feeding 20,000 neighbors
4. You will see a button on the right the vote for this idea Click on it
5. You will then be prompted to sign in (if this is your first time you will have to sign up, it takes 10 seconds)
6. Once you have signed in then you will hear a can of soda open
7. This next step is VERY IMPORTANT click on the vote for this idea again
5. At the bottom of the page in the right corner you will see a numeric counter
6. It should now be on #9 if it is still on the #10 your vote has not counted.
