Yes... I must have a thing for green guitars....   I want this guitar...  I just watched this movie tonight and the kid was playing it the whole time and it was taunting me.
The headstock says fender stratocaster, but its a CBS style headstock where the "stratocaster" decal follows the contour around the headstock like on the current Squier models.
What gives? is this a real fender? It looks just like a Warmoth Dragonburst finish to me, but i'm guessing it must be a real fender of some kind because this guitar in the movie had some pretty good wear on it.  looked naturally relic'd.

EDIT: just took a closer look.. it looks like a hardtail... hmm interesting.

I couldn't play a guitar like that without thinking of the movie, and that looks like a movie I'm glad I didn't see - in case I ever get a green guitar.

Green guitars are kinda like that ugly girlfriend who is really hot in the sack.  Once you get over the hurdle, they are GREAT!!!!

I suppose I already have this basic guitar anyway.

I was just really surprised when i saw this one, because It looks vintage.  And warmoth is the only place I've ever seen a dragonburst style finish.

There also seems to be something amiss with the bridge PU. But the boots are real nice.
