Hello to all,

I've been enjoying the website for awhile and have finished my first two builds. I am running a set of strings through them to work out the bugs, then I'll post some better glamour shots with the proper info. For now, I just wanted to stop lurking and say "Hi".

I'm not generally a fan of Tele's, but those two look superb. Looking forward to more pics!

Thanks for the welcome and kind words from everyone! Both guitars are setting in nicely and I like them more and more. #1 (the Thinline) needs better mounting on the neck pickup and I have a short on the bridge p/u (forgot insulator tape between the shielding). On #2 (aka "Blackie McShane)", I experimented with a 24 3/4 conversion neck, which is really comfortable to play, but I strung it up with 9's strings and they are too soft for my liking.

I look forward to Holiday time off to take some good pics to share and give all the details on the guitars. I pulled the trigger on #3, another Telle with mahogany and Koa body and mahogany/rosewood neck. First order of Luthier tools will be here soon too. Yay!
