Hello Everyone! I am new to this site, and what brought me here is a search for a pick guard that I cannot seem to find anywhere. That is a pick guard for a Squier Starcaster. I have googled and searched in general but I am coming up short. Can anyone point me in the right direction? That is if there even is a direction to go in. Howdy, and welcome!


Terrapin Guitars does custom pickguard for just about everything.  Now, if the Squier is just one of the Asian Strat copies that were being marketed for a number of years until very recently under the "Starcaster" name, any standard Stratocaster pickguard should work.  If, on the other hand, it's the vintage-vibe semi-hollow guitar, Terrapin may be able to help.

Thank you for the quick response! It is actually the Squier Contemporary Active Starcaster. I just think it would look better with a pickguard. I havent heard of them so I appreciate the recommendation and help very much!

That's a carved top, so you'll need a substantial pickguard that can stand up on it's own. When I needed a pickguard for my Mooncaster, I tried one made from a standard material from a good vendor, but it just wasn't thick enough to not bend with my hand resting on it. So I ended up sending my design to Quickguards. Mike does excellent work, and will execute anything you send him. He's not inexpensive, but it's a fair price for the quality you get. Thanks, Ian! Mike Quick did a great job. To me, it pulls the whole "Jazz Box" aesthetic together. I couldn't be happier with the result.
