Headless Bass Neck resources?

I have someone interested in a modern version of a Hofner Beatle Bass, complete with Seinberger style bridge, J-bass EMG’s, etc.

What’s a reliable resource of quality components for this type of build?

Quick answer, I dunno? I have seen examples of modded regular bass necks where they cut off the headstock and then attached headless style hardware to make it work.
