Have a volume where the pickup selector is on the Warmoth V:

That could be a practical place to have it especially if you are going to have a Floyd Rose. Otherwise the arm is going to cover the volume control all the time.

If it's a Gibson style pickup selector, why not just mount a volume pot in the hole?

Is that possible? With an EMG pot?

Well, a pot is a pot, more or less; the problem is the pickup selector switch requires a larger hole than a potentiometer.  You could always have the holes omitted from W and drill them yourself.

That's what a washer is for.

Is there a washer on the EMG pot or do I need to get one?

First off, what is the shaft length?
