Hardtail saddles

Just finished my first build and loving my new axe. My only real complaint is with the bridge I got from Warmoth..it's the standard spacing strat hardtail. I do alot of palm muting and the adjusment screws are rough/very sharp and scrape against my palm..really irritating.  When I called they said it was  Gotoh but don't they have smoother saddles like a Tele? I would rather not change my entire bridge. Should I get those graphtech saddles (black bridge) or is there a simpler, cheaper even temporary fix anyone might know of? :confused4:

I have the narrow spaced version of that same bridge, I don't put my palm on the bridge, but yeah the adjustment screws stick up too high. You could: 1) find some shorter adjustment screws, if possible.  2) replace the saddles entirely, not too hard to do. 3) get the callaham hardtail bridge, that is a very nice piece of hardware, just perfect.

The Tele I borrowed recently had smoother block-like saddles. I guess that's what I was expecting. Kinda like Ibanez hardtail or the saddles on most strat trems. Love callaham but they don't make black hardware.

I think Graphtech is the Sh*t  ....they offer a bunch of black possibilities, depending on wether you want traditional or non traditional.....Im considering replacing my Callaham Strat saddles with some of theirs....

big +1 to superbeast on the graphtech saddles. have then on my telecaster and love them. BUT my tele is a deluxe, so it's a 6 saddle strat hardtail, but i would imagine if i had to use a 3 saddle bridge i would want them also. look a little strange, i love it but i'm sure some people wouldn't. definitely worth checking out, whether you have a 3 or 6 saddle bridge.

Those Tusq ones could look good on a 60's style tele.
