Hardtail for tele

Hi, I need your experience.

I have two tele bodies. Both were showcase items so they were routed for Gotoh standard tele bridge: http://www.warmoth.com/hardware/bridges/bridges.cfm?fuseaction=bridges_standard_tele
The bodies have quilt tops and they look amazing so I would like to know if I can use hardtail bridges without any major modifications.

I searched on the net and found the Gotoh GTC101 http://www.hosco.co.jp/HOSCO_ENGLISH/Pages/gotoh_catalog2007/gg2007_27.html and the Hipshot fixed bridges http://www.hipshotproducts.com/cart.php?m=product_list&c=19 Also the MannMade bridges http://www.mannmadeusa.com/fixed.htm although I don't know if they are still on business.

I don't mind any modifications that would be hidden under the bridge, mostly I'm worried if the sting holes would match.

Anyone who has used a hardtail instead of the Gotoh tele bridge please share your experience.

It's kind of hard to tell without being able to see the dimensions/mechanical drawings for the bridge better than what is on the page referenced. Maybe if you call Warmoth somebody will know. Trying to eyeball what I'm seeing, those Gotohs look like Strat bridges and may have a 2 1/4" string spacing rather than the 2 1/8" on a standard Tele bridge. Call Warmoth, it's possible that a narrow spaced Strat hardtail bridge would line up with the string holes, if so from the diagrams I think it would cover up the pilot holes for the Tele bridge. Are you going to mount the pickup to wood "in the hole" like a Tom Anderson?
