Hey guys,

What kind of hard case do you use for this body? I have an Ibanez hard case shaped for the JEM model; will this suffice? Which ones would you recommend?

Also, has anyone installed the Tremol-No system to a Wilkinson VS100 bridge? I've checked their site and I should be fine to use it.

They'll fit in any Strat case. I like the SKB66-Pro. Lightweight, yet incredibly strong. Lotta case for the money. You can usually find them in the $100 range. Another one I've used are these pseudo flight cases. Also very heavy-duty protection in the $100 range, but they're kinda heavy compared to most cases.

I used a a Tremel-No with a Wilkinson VS100 for a bit back when they first came out. It more or less worked, but I took it off. They're more trouble than they're worth. One of those widgets that seems like a good idea when you see it, but aren't really necessary in real life, like a rice cooker or an egg poacher.  I keep expecting to see them on a late night informercial. "Not available in any respectable store! And if you order one within the next 10 minutes, we'll send you a second one FREE! (just add shipping and handling equal to the price of a second unit)"

I use my Tremol-No more when the guitar is in the case, or during string changes.

When I'm tracking rhythm tracks, I'll keep it locked most of the time in hard tail mode.

Occasionally, either in hard tail mode or dive only, I'll detune the low E to D for Dropped D tuning.

Other than that, I keep it freely floating for most solos or live use.
