The new year is going to be good, though. We're finally going to get rid of the major cause of the malaise in this country, so that's something to look forward to. Recovery from all the destruction may start happening early in anticipation, although as counter-productive as it sounds I sorta hope not. Hate for any credit to be accrued where it's not due.

I wouldn't get my hopes too high about all that. Even if it happens, it would take decades to un-do the damage that's been done.
