Half Warmoth P-Bass

Hi,

This is my semi-Warmoth Precision Bass. I bought a used black alder Warmoth body on ebay. It spent almost a year in a box when I finally decided to build a "standard" four string bass. The neck and the tuners are from a mex Fender Std. (maple/rw), the pickup is an active EMG-P. The bridge is Wilkinson with brass saddles. It's simple, dirtcheap and reliable. A put a bridge cover on because the previous owner drilled many little holes for at least 3 bridges as I could read from the hole patterns. The pickup cover was screwed on only for the look, but now it doubles as a perfect rest for my hand while slapping.

I use this bass in a just-for-fun cover band. We play some old Aerosmith, Sabbath, Skynyrd, Zeppelin stuff and this P is a perfect choice for these songs.
