NICE!  They've finally made the robots a decent looking guitar...I've wanted to look into one for awhile since I change tunings so much (cause god forbid dave grohl could write everlong in standard tuning...) but they've been such fugly looking machines so far...might have to check this out!  Didn't know they were making an Explorer either...damn.

I do have several custom made stand...they are just there for display...

I have played those before...nice axe...cool concept.  My buddy had one...whole thing shorted out.  Fender replaced the entire guitar...plays perfect now.  Think only thing I did not like is you had to make sure the amp volume was louder than the strings when playing at low volumes.  Kinda freaks ya out when you have an alternative tune going on.  Has a synthetic feel to it.  however... it does work faster than the robot.

the robot gutiar tunes by turning the pegheads for you.  Personally I like the transperformer idea better, where It adjusts the tension on the tail piece.  It's faster too, but far more expensive.

so no pedal steel and/or g/b/e bender function, the paisley is safe mayfly
