If buying a set, usually dAddario "medium top heavy bottom" (11-52 with plain G)

I often get single strings. The latest: .0115 - .015 - .019 - .028 - .038 - .052

I also like 12-56 with plain G (.020)

I use regular (10-46) on all my Strats with Floyds
and medium (11-49) on my Gibson LP and 355

Depends on the guitar/tuning. Mine are all different. My LP is currently in B Std. with 13-60 (wound G), My acoustic is 13-56 (Std), My custom MLF is 10-46 (D Std.), My DBDT ML is 9-46 (E Std./Drop D), my other ML is out of commission at the moment. Was in 9-42 but, I snapped the low E; I was way too used to 10-52 Std. and I bent the shit out of those strings. I'm trying to play with a lighter touch so, I've been going lighter with picks and strings and focusing more on my technique.

D'Addario 11-52 plain G, standard tuning

They stretch in faster, stay in tune better and sound better.

Then again, I'm developing a nasty case of tennis elbow, so maybe 10-49s are in my future...
