No, I play both, I just don't have a Warmoth guitar yet.
Do you even have a electric guitar?

I rarely photograph it, because it's nothing interesting, but here you go.

Nothing interesting? ALL GUITARS (and to a lesser degree, lefty guitars) ARE EQUALLY INTERESTING!

I'll try and find some time to document my build, I have pretty much all my parts aside from the neck (Warmoth just scraped their first attemp - last week cause it failed quality insurance so they told me).

Mine is loosely based on the Richie Sambora signature Strat hence it will be sporting 2 Custom texas Special pups and one DiMarzio HB. It's going to be Sunburst in color with all black hardware and black stars on the neck (I know, you love it or hate it). It's not going to suffer the Floyd Rose treatment.....for now at least, I'll keep this one for mellower stuff as the Strat body is best served for this.

I'll modify my Ibanez for the Floyd use later down the road as it got a deeper route to higher frets anyway and is better suited for that use.

I allready have a photoshop 'montage' of what I'm aiming for somewhere, I'll post it in the appropriate section soon enough. I'm going through all that because left-handed options are scarce out there, I'd buy a Ritchie Signature right now if they could produce a left-handed version of it in Sienna Sunburst color.....but they never did so... I'll treat myself with my own version of it, with some nice customization of my own (killswitch, neck pup always-on switch and so on).

What bothers me so much about Parkers is the way the strings hang off of the headstock like that.
It seriously bugs the hell out of me to the point that I could not handle playing a guitar like that.

I did play a Parker briefly at Sam Ash once. It was an odd guitar.

your neckplate should not affect your tone, unless you are using one of them rubber pads under it. They seriously dampen the tone. They are tone suckers!!

Are you talking about the usual black plastic pad that goes underneath the plate between the plate and the body? Or a rubberised version of that?

exactly! the black plastic pads..  the same goes for those little felt thingies that you can put between the strap buttons and the guitar!!

I thought the functional use of the guitar neck plate was to further the creativity of one DangerousR6.  :sign13:
